Description

The in-Motion Pro Forearm Crutches are engineered for comfortable, all-day mobility through longer recoveries, with patented spring-assist shock absorption, ergonomic left/right grips, and articulating tips that keep you steady on any surface.

Sizing Guide: Choose Short or Tall

Sold as a pair. Forearm crutch sizing is based on handle height, not overall body height. To confirm your fit, stand upright in the shoes you'll normally wear and measure from the floor to your hip, then pick your size:

  • Short (adults 4'2" to 5'5"): floor-to-hip measurement of 23.5" to 33.5", with the handle adjustable across 11 positions.
  • Tall (users 5'3" to 6'8"): floor-to-hip measurement of 28.5" to 42.5", with the handle adjustable across 15 positions.

Weight capacity: 350 lbs; each crutch weighs 1.8 lbs. This is the spring-assisted model. If you prefer a rigid post without springs, see our Rigid Post version.

Not Your Standard Forearm Crutch: Ergonomic Left/Right Grips and Two Cuff Sizes Included

Contoured left/right ergonomic hand grips are angled to keep your wrist in its natural position, reducing the nerve strain and wrist "kinking" that make traditional forearm crutches painful during long recovery periods. Every box includes two forearm cuff sizes (standard and large) so you get a secure, snug fit regardless of forearm size. The semi-closed cuff design provides more support than open-cuff models while still allowing easy entry and hands-free use.

Spring-Assist Technology: Firm, Controlled Energy Return With Every Step

The patented lower-post spring absorbs the shock of each step and returns that energy forward to reduce shoulder, elbow, and wrist fatigue throughout the day. The spring has a firm, controlled feel, not bouncy, and runs significantly quieter than traditional spring-loaded crutches. Most users adjust within the first day and find it dramatically reduces fatigue over longer recoveries.

Sure-Foot Articulating Tips: Stable on Any Surface

The articulating crutch tips pivot to maintain full contact with the ground regardless of angle, giving you confident footing on hardwood, carpet, grass, gravel, and uneven outdoor terrain. Unlike fixed rubber tips that tilt and slip, these maintain 75-100% surface contact at all times, working with the spring system to reduce the jarring impact that makes traditional forearm crutches exhausting during all-day use.

Lightweight at 1.8 lbs Each + 1-Year Warranty

Built with a reinforced cylinder bracket and double-reinforced strut for heavy-duty durability at 350 lbs capacity, without the bulk. At just 1.8 lbs per crutch, these are engineered for users who need all-day reliability without added weight. Backed by a 1-year parts and replacement warranty. Developed through 34 clinical studies and trusted by physical therapists and professional athletes worldwide.

Customers praise these forearm crutches for their spring-assisted shock absorption technology, ergonomic handles, and durability. Many note significant improvements in comfort over standard crutches, with reduced shoulder strain and increased stability. The crutches accommodate tall users (up to 6'7") and varying terrains. Some mention minor weight concerns and limited color options.

Very well made, tall enough for me (6'7"). Since I often walk with only one crutch, I ordered the plain round handles, then padded them by wrapping them with 4" elastic compression wraps, held that tight with tape, then overlaid it with a grey sock (for aesthetic purposes. This has proven very comfortable to use.

Hi Joel, we're so glad to hear the in-Motion forearm crutches are working well for you and that you found a comfortable customization! Thanks for sharing your experience.

These have been a wonderful upgrade from my cane. Having Nail Patella Syndrome means both of my legs struggle with weight bearing, using a cane only supported one side and not nearly enough stability as these forearm crutches do go both sides! The anatomical grips make them all the more comfortable as well and It’s much easier to get around campus and go out with friends, this is freedom. I ended up decorating them with a mix and match of different holographic tapes for a disco ball look!

We're so happy to hear that the in-Motion Pro Forearm Crutch Set has made a positive difference for you. Your personalized touch with the holographic tapes sounds fantastic! Thanks for sharing your experience, and we're glad you feel more freedom and stability now.

Get the crutches. Honestly, I used a cane, a roller, and a wheelchair before I finally got crutches. They were the right choice to take full or most weight off my nerve damaged leg. But because I delayed, I actually injured myself and was forced to get crutches then.

These have restored SO much of my movement and my walking independence. The t-rex arms and lack of ability to easily carry things myself needed adjusting to. Other people, a backpack, and a sling for my giant water bottle have helped with most of that.

My leg pain is immensely reduce. I'm noticably more active. These crutches are easy to adjust to get the right fit no matter my shoes. The springfeet make something like hiking on uneven terrain actually manageable. I did a hilly, gravely ren faire with these and didn't stumble (unless of my own mistake or distraction). Roots or a sudden step or a rock didn't trip me up. I cannot notice any problems or difference with getting refurbished ones. And I'm heartened to know that if something does happen, parts are available.

Hi there, thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with our in-Motion Pro Forearm Crutch Set! We're thrilled to hear how much it has improved your mobility and independence. Wishing you continued comfort and activity. Take care!

Not only does freedom improve with the right tools, but so does dignity and quality of life.

It’s been about a week now since the in-Motion Pro Forearm Crutch set arrived. Slowly and consciously, I’ve been putting them to use and testing my strength and abilities. Adjustments to mobility and balance requires time and persistence within disabilities. Born with cerebral palsy, I am quite familiar with relying on canes and rollators, leg braces, AFOs and orthopedic shoes.

QUALITY of the crutches were immediately noticed, with the weight of the materials and with each component. DESIGN becomes an enhanced feature with use, created by those who have experience and not just knowledge. The intuitive nature of assembly, the ease of adjustment, the accommodation of wrist and hand position, the spring loading of weight and the responsive rubber tips all speak volumes of COMFORT and NATURAL SUPPORT, especially to someone with lifelong disability. The crutches become an extension of the body as opposed to an external DME needed for independence. The “in-Motion” label is perfectly suited.

Above and beyond the product, which for me should last a lifetime with proper care, is the outstanding customer service with the company, Millennial Medical. At every point of the process of ordering, shipping and receiving, Millennial Medical has been professional, knowledgeable and quick to respond, but also personable. Emails, phone calls, videos and blog all communicate cohesively with informing and leading the customer to a satisfied, desirable end result.

Business becomes secondary to the people that they serve.

Business is the means through which they serve a person in need.

Thank you for the reviews. I have enjoyed getting to know you through our communications. We are so glad to hear the in-Motion forearm crutches are a game changer for you! We hope we can stay in touch!

After a severe CPPD arthritis flareup, I decided to get some forearm crutches to help me get around better during the worst of it. The In Motion Pro forearm crutches are every bit as good as the underarm crutches, and easier to use for partial weight bearing. They work well whether I am using both, or just one at a time.

My forearms are a bit large for even the large cuff, but Clint was able to sell me a set of an older model that is slightly larger, which fit perfectly. Once again, top notch customer service.

From what I understand, I will most likely have more flareups, hopefully not frequently. When I do, I will use these crutches.

Hi Charles, thank you for sharing your positive experience with our crutches! We're glad they’ve been helpful during your recovery, and it's great to hear you had the chance to experience our customer service. Wishing you the best with your future flareups and a smooth journey ahead!

I bought these because I am going through a fairly lengthy orthopedic rehab. I use them as an assist for full weight bearing, getting ready to get new AFOs. Just the first 3 minutes told me this is a game changer! Buy these. Just spend the money. Forget the $30 ones and just go right to these, even if you only need them a few weeks. The springs make ALL the difference... and they seem to have a nice design and nice ergo shape for the hand holds. They seem fairly quiet, too. Not silent, but not very "clicky" like the cheaper ones. It's still there, you're not gonna ninja anywhere with them.... but they are much quieter in their "click" than cheaper ones. My only even tiny, tiny, whinny, fussing, princess and the pea level complaint is that they don't come in colors. But... that is a super nothing in the scheme of things.

I love these already. It was past due for me to get some decent crutches and I just got them today and only used them a little bit but I can already tell these are gonna be much better for me. I was nervous about how these were gonna be on my wrist as I have chronic wrist problems but the ergonomic handles actually keep my wrist straight and are so much more comfortable. The spring also relieves the pressure and is a superior design, I didn’t notice it being loud, it definitely adds a sound but it’s very minimal, I will pay attention to if this bugs me more but so far not at all. The arm cuffs have just enough movement to allow me to feel stable while also allowing me to use my hands much more naturally. I will say the box didn’t have the bigger cuffs which I need but I called and they were so nice and shipped out the larger cuffs same day. I will update this review once I have had them a while but so far no regrets would recommend.

Great forearm crutches I've been using In Motion forearm crutch for years and they are the best value I have found. The shock absorption is a game changer and a lifesaver on my shoulders.

Fantastic product - Highly recommended - Be prepared for a minor adjustment period. I purchased In-Motion Forearm, Spring Assist Crutches after a friend recommended them. I complained about the standard crutches I was provided after an accident and he was like, "Shut up! You gotta get these things!" So I looked them up and started reading reviews. The reviews did NOT instill confidence. People reported the being noisy, cuffs falling off, and for those who purchased the spring assisted models, it seemed some felt it made them more difficult to use. I went ahead and purchased them anyway and I'm really glad I did. They're everything the manufacturer and my friend said they'd be. But now that I have them I understand why some folks complained about these issues. But it's user error - not a product or design problem in my experience. If your forearm cuffs are coming off, you've likely installed them backward and upside down. The open end of the adjustable forearm bracket should face the opposite direction of the handles - or - behind you, and the closest (most closed) point of the opening of the cuffs, when positioned over the handle, should be facing upward. Another thing to note is that these crutches handles or ergonomically designed for each of your hands, so there is a left crutch and a right crutch. They are NOT ambidextrous. If the "fin" of the grip is cutting across your palm it just means you've got the right crutch in your left hand. Switch them and you've be right as rain. Noise? Mine are perfectly quiet. I can hear a little spring action but that's it. Stability is a big thing. These are stable. They include two cuff sizes. You want snug but not tight. If the cuffs are loose stability is going to be a problem. But it's also important to know that you're not going to IMMEDIATELY get the same level of stability out of forearm crutches that you get from standard crutches. It's going to take a little time for your muscles to catch up. A few days should do it but I wouldn't get upset if it took a week or so. Another big part of stability is how you use them. Everything from properly sizing them (your arms should have a slight bend when at your sides. 5º or so is ideal), to taking shorter strides is going to help. Your strides will improve as you get stronger. Another thing I found helped a lot as a new user was the angle of the handles. You'll be least stable with the handles pointing straight ahead, and the crutches will always be more prone to getting bumped if you angle your handles inward toward your thighs. I've found that 45º inward is the most stable and natural position. I live in the mountains. There's only dirt, mud and gravel. I'm completely new to forearm crutches and these have been 1000 times better than the conventional crutches I was using. These look great, they're light and easy to whip around when getting in and out of the car, they're strong and the build quality and materials seem top notch... I'm happy as a pig with mine. I hope this helps others who are new to forearm crutches have a better experience cuz it's absolutely worth the time and effort to acclimate to them. Mine showed up yesterday as I got out reconstructive surgery for my ankle. But I'm also waiting to have surgery on both shoulders. The standard crutches I was using before surgery were so bad on my shoulders I'd basically given up on getting around. Millennial's in-Motion forearm crutches have been an absolute life saver.

Top Quality & Comfortable!! This is far and away the BEST cane/crutches I’ve found. I need a hip replacement and I was told I had to walk around with a cane from now until my surgery. Most canes are wobbly but this gives stability up your forearm. The spring gives a little bounce and feels nice when walking. It’s not so jarring on your joints. I found with other brands, the handles cracked because they were cheaply made… this company has high quality handles! I can’t wait to use both of them post-op in my recovery!!

A great set of crutches With these crutches, there are able to support my current weight (267 lb. / ~19 stone). They are very helpful for my joints, especially since the temperatures, humidity, and weather are fluctuating so much. I'm able to be more mobile. With a lot of travel approaching, I'm glad that I have these and will be using them.
