Comfortable underarm crutches built for real life.

The In-Motion Pro Underarm Crutches are engineered to take the strain off your wrists, hands, and arms, whether you're recovering from surgery or relying on crutches long-term. Developed through 34 clinical studies and preferred by physical therapists and professional athletes, they deliver a smoother, quieter, more comfortable experience than any hospital-issued crutch. Sold as a pair. At just 2.2 lbs each with a 350 lb weight capacity.

Ergonomic design your wrists will thank you for

Unlike traditional straight-grip crutches, the In-Motion Pro uses contoured left/right hand grips angled to keep your wrist in its natural position, eliminating the "kinking" that causes wrist pain and nerve strain. It's intentionally designed to feel different from a hospital crutch, and most users adjust within the first day.

Spring Assist Technology

A spring in the lower post absorbs the impact of every step and returns that energy forward to aid your movement, reducing fatigue over long recovery periods. The feel is firm and controlled (not bouncy) and noticeably quieter than traditional crutch springs. Foam padding at the underarm cradle further reduces pressure and soreness.

Sure Foot Articulating Tips

The tips pivot to stay in full contact with the ground at any angle, giving you confident footing on hardwood, carpet, grass, gravel, and uneven outdoor terrain, where fixed rubber tips tend to slip.

Folds in seconds for travel

The In-Motion Pro folds in half without changing your height settings and fits in an overhead bin, a car back seat, or a closet, with no awkward bulk. A re-designed cylinder bracket and double-reinforced strut keep the handle strong and durable.

Sizing guide, Short size for users 4'8" to 5'9" (important: read before ordering)

The underarm cradle adjusts across 11 positions and the ergonomic hand grip adjusts independently at 4 positions for a fully customized fit. If you are 5'10" or taller, choose our Tall size (5'10" to 7'1"). Weight capacity: 350 lbs.

Sizing guide, Tall size for users 5'10" to 7'1" (important: read before ordering)

Nice quality crutches, like the springs. Refurbished are like new.

Hi there! We're so glad you’re happy with the crutches and the springs. Thanks for sharing your positive experience!

Uniquely designed and excellent points product support The design of these is very impressive. They take a little getting used to, as there are actually springs that act like shocks providing less of an impact feeling particularly when stepping up/stairs or curbs etc.. This pair actually folds down to allow for more space in smaller vehicles - the first time I did not fold them, and they took up more room, I had to angle lay them on the vehicle floor. They came with the ergonomic handle grips which are excellent as my wrists and particularly my thumbs do not get anywhere near as sore (like with my cane or reg crutches). The padding already on the underarm part is nonslip and very decent, they do sell separately padding for those who have sensitive underarms or are using these a lot more than I currently do. The company itself has seriously impressed me. They follow a pay it forward mentality. Donating DME to Local communities. I'm very impressed by the product support, I requested some and didn't expect a call - thought I would be emailed back the next week. But they actually called me the next day, which was just completely unexpected. Overall, the company and the DME they have designed are excellent. I'm definitely letting my friends and family know about these, and the other DME products that they have available. Whether I need any other DME products or not, I will support this company by recommending them and their products. I truly have not had a product support request that was sent by email, be responded to so quickly and by a phone call on top of that. It's good to know that the product support emails sent through Amazon are actually being received by the Millennial Medical.

These crutches literally changed my recovery game! Lightweight, sturdy, and much easier on my hands I broke my fibula on April 1… I’m aware of the irony, and quickly realized that standard crutches are not all created equal. After trying a basic pair, I decided to purchase the in-Motion Pro Crutches along with the matching crutch pads, and I’m really glad I did. The first thing I noticed was the weight. These are lightweight enough that I don’t feel like I’m dragging them around, but they still feel sturdy and supportive when I’m using them. They don’t have that flimsy feel that some cheaper crutches do. The foldable design is also a huge plus. Being able to fold them down makes them much easier to put in the car, store next to a chair, or take along when I’m going somewhere. That added versatility has made a real difference during recovery. The crutches arrived in excellent condition and were packaged well. Everything adjusted smoothly, and the locking mechanisms felt secure once set to my height. I also appreciate the ergonomic handles. Traditional crutch grips can be rough on the hands and wrists, especially when you’re using them all day. These handles feel more natural and supportive. Adding the crutch pads made them even more comfortable, especially under the arms and during longer periods of use. As far as performance, the spring assist feature is helpful. It gives the crutches a smoother feel when moving and seems to reduce some of the jarring impact compared to basic crutches. I still have to be careful, of course, but these feel stable and easier to manage on different surfaces around the house and while getting in and out of the car. They are also very easy to use. Adjusting the height was straightforward, folding and unfolding them doesn’t take much effort, and the overall design feels practical for daily use. I’ve used them around the house, for appointments, and while running short errands, and they’ve held up well. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Recovering from a broken fibula is frustrating enough, and having crutches that are comfortable, lightweight, foldable, and reliable has made the process a little easier. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who needs crutches and wants something more comfortable and portable than the standard hospital-style pair.

Good but needs tweaking Good crutches but could use a couple of tweaks. The hand grips are comfortable but with a slight downward angle, it provides even better relief for arthritic hands and wrists. Secondly, the padding on the upper portion is rough where it curves underneath. This causes discomfort but I've used soft socks, held on with ribbon, to fix that issue. Otherwise? They are pretty good! Not Don-Joy good, but good.

My new go to style of crutch! I have hip dysplasia and have had two hip surgeries and one femur surgery in a small amount of time. I went with these crutches he’s based off feedback from others who had the same types of surgery. I will forever recommend these crutches to anyone who needs surgery or is looking for a stable and reliable mobility aid they can turn to when they need a little extra help around. These crutches caused me zero pain underneath my armpits during the 5-6 months I used them. They are excellent for getting around and also leaning your weight on when you get tired.

Amazing customer service for the most comfortable crutches! Absolutely amazing customer service. I injured my leg and needed to be non-weight bearing for at least 6 weeks. This happened just days before a two-week trip where I would exclusively be using public transit/walking - the team at Millennial Medical was able to get crutches in the mail to me right away. Unfortunately, they didn’t arrive in time (no fault of theirs, they reviewed all shipping options with me and we selected an option that should have given us a few days buffer….but I live on an island and shipping is often delayed). I was so grateful to get rid of my traditional crutches and move on to these after those two weeks of travel. My hands and sides were blistered and bruised, elbows and wrists were so sore, I ruined a few sweaters with the rubber from the traditional style. These things were a game changer, so much more comfortable for my hands, wrists, elbows, and sides. The spring action makes them so much easier to get around on too! I spent a lot of time calling around to local shops before I found Millennial Medical and couldn’t find what I needed. (Honestly, I’m glad because I wouldn’t have found these crutches!) The customer service was so fantastic, they were 100% on top of it and so responsive! 11/10, totally recommend these crutches!!

My son liked these crutches much more than the standard ones. He was non-weight bearing for 10 weeks and these were much easier to use.

Great Crutch for Tall Individuals: My son has an injured hip and is scheduled for a hip replacement. He is 6'10 and the regular crutches did not work. He uses one crutch to get around. This product is amazing and worked perfectly for his tall stature. The adjustments are easy to use and adjust to his height and the breakdown feature is a bonus. We went on a vacation and flew on a plane recently and his crutch fit just fine in the overhead bins. We usually waited until everyone had their stuff in the bin and we would put the crutch on top. This is a great product especially for tall people. Thank you!!!!

These crutches are so comfortable. I have a spinal cord injury and was really concerned when I fractured my pelvis, that using crutches would hyperextend my spine due to their resistance. These crutches are comfortable, supportive and have give. Very ergonomically built. They’re totally worth it.

My husband tore his Achilles and needed the use of a knee scooter. I spoke with the customer service, who was amazing to work with. They delivered the knee scooter rental to us that evening. They brought crutches anticipating we would also need these with recovery which he was right and those crutches have been life changing for my husband. I highly recommend Millennial Medical. Exceptional customer service.

The In-Motion Crutches I bought for my post-hamstring surgery have been a lifesaver! It is very easy and comfortable to get around and with the extra springiness in the bottom of the crutches, it feels much better than normal crutches and is easier on the body. Thank you Millennial Medical!!

My husband is an amputee up to his hip. He has fused arms, and these crutches are the only crutches durable enough for his use. Your product is beyond amazing and he would not be able to be successful without them. He had a big fall getting out of his vehicle and it caused the crutch to bend a little. We placed an order and was able to get him your product within two days. It’s crucial in his daily activities to have them so we cannot appreciate you all enough. We will only use your crutches!

My husband is 6'5" tall 270 lbs and suffered a torn meniscus in his knee. The silver crutches you normally see are not made for tall people and have a lower weight limit. These crutches are like the ones you see used on the sidelines at athletic events. They are made for larger and taller people. It was nice for my husband to be able to use crutches that actually fit him. They have right and left handles that are easy and comfortable to use.

I received these back in September of 2024 and have been using them ever since. I've been on crutches since 2014 and finding a good pair of crutches that doesn't absolutely hammer your shoulders is hard, until I found these! The spring assist posts are a game changer when it comes to cushioning the blow that your underarms and shoulders take. I am also 260lbs, so finding a good set that'll handle that weight is also hard, and these surpass that significantly. I don't feel like these are about to break at any time unlike the standard pairs you get from drug stores, Walmart or other local stores. I had used the Care-X folding crutches for a while and those were "OKAY" at best, got about 3 months out of them before they started squeaking and making all sorts of noise. Lol. Either way, if you're like me and are looking for a set of crutches that'll make you feel more secure, stable and more mobile, these In-Motion Pro crutches are the ones to get! Thank you to Clint and the entire team at Millennial Medical for everything they've done for me and other customers!

I broke my ankle and needed a pair of crutches. these are excellent quality and very well made. I mistakenly ordered the small version, but they did a great job exchanging them - so happy!

Thank you for the feedback on the crutches. We are happy to hear they are working so well for you! Since you got sand in the spring mechanism, you can always order replacement lower posts and swap out the sandy ones. This will make it like you have a new pair of crutches. We wish you the best!

Hi, my name is Christopher Garnett, and I'm a 6' 11" tall retired professional athlete. I was in a car accident in February of 2022 and broke both legs. Left leg healed marvelously and my right had to have several more surgeries. I bought these crutches around July of 2022 and they are WONDERFUL! They hold all 325 lbs. of me like your true love. The spring mechanism is a gift from above and the handles are seriously comfortable. I'm having to order a pad for the underarm tube because it's starting to pinch on my right side. I've used these crutches off and on from 2022 until now and I should be finished by summer since I just had my last surgery a month ago. Perfect for current or retired athletes. They are very sturdy and you feel like you're gliding on them. It's the UBER of crutches because they are driving you, you just sit back and enjoy the ride! I was at the beach last summer and some sand got into the spring area and now if squeaks something awful. I haven't tried to do anything to fix it but tomorrow I'll apply WD40 and see if we can whisper again. Do yourself a favor and get them, even if you don't need them yet. Trust me.

My 6'1", 280lb son that played Division 1 - FCS - football needed surgery on his hip to repair the labrum. They made a HUGE difference in his recovery process. Initially, being non-weight bearing & progressing to full weight bearing was made easier with this style crutches. No wash rags taped around the underarm padding because the rubber tears at the skin OR around the padded hand rest for comfort. Being a larger built person, the functionality, easily height adjustable, & no hand/armpit irritation made ambulation easier. I believe compliance increased because he did not have pain (nerve compression in the hand or nerve impingement in the underarm area) in other locations when walking. The innovated shock absorption system in the underarm, hand grip, & non-slip crutch tips makes using them comfortable. I would highly recommend using this style crutch. Please note this is NOT giving medical advice, it was merely an observation of my son post-operatively.

In-Motion Pro Crutches: A Game-Changer for Recovery I’ve used In-Motion Pro Crutches since 2014, and they have been essential through three hip surgeries, a broken foot, and 854 PT sessions. Unlike traditional crutches, which are awkward, painful, and exhausting, these ergonomic, spring-assisted, and foldable crutches make recovery so much easier. As a former ballet dancer and capoeira practitioner, I suffered a hip labral tear that worsened over time. In 2018, I had my first hip surgery, requiring 1.5 months of non-weight-bearing recovery, followed by partial weight-bearing and using one crutch as a cane for another 2-2.5 months. By 2020, I lost active range of motion and had a second surgery in 2021 to repair another labral tear and remove a femoral bone spur. During surgery, my doctor found a large calcification (“rock”) in my hip, explaining why I felt like I was being stabbed with every step. In 2022, my leg gave out unexpectedly, and while trying to prevent a fall, I broke my left foot’s 5th metatarsal. For over a month, I was non-weight-bearing on both sides, and these crutches were the only reason I could move around independently. In April 2024, I had a third and more complex surgery, including a full labrum reconstruction using a cadaver graft. I now have neuromuscular dysfunction, meaning my hip flexor sometimes fails, and my leg gives out when I walk. While I don’t rely on crutches full-time, I use them post-surgery for three months and on bad days when my hip flares up or my leg stops working. Why These Crutches Are the Best Choice ✔️ Ergonomic Hand Grip – Prevents wrist fatigue and allows comfortable all-day use. ✔️ Spring-Assist Technology – Reduces impact and exhaustion, making movement smoother. ✔️ Foldable & Portable – Easy to store, travel with, and carry in small spaces. ✔️ Adjustable for All Heights – Fits users from 4’8” to 7’1”. I recently got the In-Motion Forearm Crutches but need more time to review them. If you need short-term or long-term crutches, don’t settle for traditional models—these crutches keep you moving! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best out of all the different crutches I have tried. These are really well made and have cushioning springs built into the shafts. They have handles that are large enough for my hand and also angled properly to reduce strain. They are really worth the cost.

Your crutches are truly the best on the market! They are very well designed to improve walking ability (respectful of body mechanics and joint integrity) compared to the other crutches I have used in the past. They are comfortable, ergonomic, and increase endurance and functional level in activities of daily living. Having worked extensively in rehabilitation settings, being an amputee now, I am surprised at the poor design of other crutches that some other companies sell. On the other hand, their customer service is superb! They are really willing to help their customers with kindness and respect. I bought my last pair on a Friday and the order for some reason doubled. Clint wrote me that night and by Saturday he had processed the refund. I will never buy a pair of crutches not manufactured by this company. The benefit I have derived from using these crutches is worth far more than their retail price. Highly recommended!

I ordered the in-Motion Pro Crutches and supplemental arm pads to help me during my recuperation from foot surgery. The crutches required minimal assembly and are sturdy and comfortable, yet not overly heavy. The spring-loaded feet are especially helpful to give me a little boost to my step. There are several adjustments available, and after tweaking them for a couple days, I think I have everything where I want it. While installing the arm pads, I noticed I had matching pads, when they should be opposite—one for each side. I reached out to the company, and after a couple of emails and photos sent to confirm the issue, they rushed me out a new set of pads. They were very friendly and helpful. Now that I have interacted with them personally, I’m even more happy that I chose these crutches. They are also a small business, which I’m thrilled to support!

I have been a crutch user for 16 odd years and this Millennial Medical makes the best product that lasts for a good while. Definitely worth the money!! The Millennial Medical staff are very helpful with questions and concerns and everything in between!

Customer service with this company is top notch! I was able to call and personally speak to Clint, who went above and beyond to make sure our new crutches arrived in time for vacation. Our plans would have been ruined without his exceptional effort, it is difficult for an above the knee amputee to travel without crutches, if not impossible. Clint worked us, despite product back order/supply delays to get a set of crutches, even providing different shipping options in time for our much anticipated family vacation. I cannot say enough about the service Millennial Medical provides!! It is rare to find this level of compassion from a business! We are customers for life!

I bought these for a six-week recovery I am having after foot surgery. They appear to be very well built. The instructions were clear to follow, and they are definitely easier to use and more comfortable than standard crutches. It is taking me a bit of time to get all the adjustments just right, but I’m sure once I do they will be perfect! The spring-loaded feet really help give me strength on the upswing of my foot. I saw some posts about them being a little bit heavy, but I don’t think they feel that way. Highly recommend!
